1 Children, obey your parents in Lord, for this is right.2 Honor thy father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise,3 so that it may become well with thee, and thou will be long lasting on the earth.4 And ye fathers, do not exasperate your children, but rear them in the training and admonition of Lord.
