2 Now while they were at the supper, (the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,)
3 Jesus, though he knew that the Father had subjected everything to him, and that he came from God, and was returning to God;
4 arose from supper, and laying aside his mantle, girt himself about with a towel.
5 Then he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.
