1 At another time he entered the synagogue, when a man was there who had a withered hand.2 And they, with a design to accuse Jesus, watched him, to see whether he would heal the man on the Sabbath.3 Jesus said to the man, who had the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.4 Then he said to them, Whether it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, or to do evil-to save, or to kill? But they were silent.5 And looking around on them with anger, being grieved for the blindness of their minds, he said to the man, Stretch out your hand: and as he stretched out his hand, it was restored.
