4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you like a thief.5 You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night, or of darkness.6 Therefore let us not sleep as the rest [do], but let us watch and be calm.7 For those sleeping sleep in the night, and those being drunken are drunken in the night.8 But let us, who are of the day, be calm, having put on [the] breastplate of faith and love and [the] hope of salvation [for] a helmet.9 For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
