JOB REPLIED:

禄Even today my complaint is bitter rebellion. God聮s hand is heavy despite my groaning.

禄Oh that I knew where I might find him that I might come to his seat!

禄I would present my case before him and fill my mouth with arguments.

禄I would learn what he would answer and perceive what he would say to me.

禄Would He contend with me using his great power? No, surely He would pay attention to me.

禄There the upright would reason with him. I would be delivered forever from my Judge.

禄Behold, I go forward but He is not there. I go backward, but I cannot perceive him.

禄He acts on the left and I cannot behold. He turns on the right and I cannot see him.

禄But He knows the way I walk. He has tried me. I shall come forth as gold.

禄My foot has held fast to his path. I have kept his way and not turned aside.

禄I have not departed from the command of his lips. I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

禄But he is unchangeable and who can turn him? He does what he wants to do.

禄He performs what is appointed for me. He is mindful of many such matters.

禄Therefore, I would be dismayed at his presence. I stand in awe of him.

禄God has made my heart faint. The Almighty has dismayed shocked me.

禄But I am not silenced by the darkness, Nor deep gloom that covers me.
