2 禄How you have helped one who has no power! How you have assisted the arm that has no strength!
3 禄How you have counseled one who has no wisdom, and given much good advice!
4 禄With whose assistance have you uttered words? Whose spirit has come forth from you?
5 禄The shades of the dead tremble underneath the waters and their inhabitants.
6 禄The grave is naked before God, and destruction has no covering.
7 禄He stretches out the northern sky over empty space, and hangs the earth upon nothing.
8 禄He wraps up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud does not burst by them.
9 禄He covers the face of the full moon, and spreads his cloud over it.
10 禄He has described a circle on the face of the waters, at the boundary between light and darkness.
11 禄The pillars of heaven tremble, and are astounded at his rebuke.
12 禄He stills the sea with his power. He struck down Rahab with his understanding.
13 禄By his wind the heavens were made fair. His hand pierced the fleeing serpent.
14 禄These are indeed but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear from him! But who can understand the thunder of his power?
