As they were traveling on the road, a man said to him, "I will follow you wherever you go."
Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have coverts, but the Son of Man has not where to lay his head."
He said to another, "Follow me." But he said, "Let me first go and bury my father."
Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce far and wide the kingdom of God."
Another said, "I will follow you, Sir, but first let me say good-bye to those at my home."
Jesus said to him, "No one who has put his hand to the plow and is looking backward is fit for the kingdom of God."
