4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of a city Nazareth, into Judaea, into the city of David which is called Bethlehem; because he was of the house and family of David:5 to enrol himself with Mary who was betrothed to him, she being with child.6 And it came to pass, while they were there, that the days were fulfilled for her to give birth;7 and she gave birth to her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
